It took a while to figure this one out.  Translation for Jacksmom:

Happily authors still insist on following dreadfully obsolete spelling rules.

Reading actually requires p...g of o...c p...s and attention to individual g...s

F...y with ordinary p...s p...s , however unfamiliar context or longer c...s may be nearly impossible to decipher. (As tihs dsatrenotems qtuie altpy.  ;D)

Syllables that are p...e interfere with the visual p...s because we can't resist the o...y to attend to g..s.

I'll just finish this later.  I have to go.

Okay, here's the best I could do:

Happily authors still insist on following dreadfully obsolete spelling words.

Reading actually requires processing of ohotprihargc patterns and attention to individual gemharpes.

Firlitaimay with ordinary patterns permits decoding to transpire, however unfamilar contexts or longer cintibamoons may be nearly impossible to decipher.

Syllables that are purbnealcoone interfere with the visual process because we can't resist the opportunity to attend to gemharpes.

That was all I could figure out.  Perhaps you would be willing to provide a translation for the six words I was unable to decipher.  I never have been good at "Jumble." ;D

Here's what I can add for you:
ohotprihargc -  I think this is photographic, but missing an extra p
gemharpes - ?
Firlitaimay - familiarity
cintibamoons - ?
purbnealcoone - pronouncable

It was a demonstration of why spelling is important and Moni is incorrect.  I might add that even his post was difficult to read, but it could be puzzled out within about five minutes.  That was not the case with Laurel Grove's post (or was it a puzzle?).   ;)

Thanks for sharing that.  I'm a teacher and I've always assumed that the email was correct, although I teach Math and not LA.  I couldn't get that second one though, I'm with you Tina (feeling stupid) LOL

 :-[

sorry about that.  I usually check these things out, but thought it was amazing that I actually understood it!  lol

Thanks for showing us otherwise, Holly!   :)  I'd rather know the truth afterwards, then keep on believing it.
