Ang, I am sorry to hear that things aren't going so well right now. I like to think that everything happens for a reason, and just remember that there is something wonderful waiting for you at the end of this dark tunnel you are stuck in right now.
My advice for tonight: Put on some pjs, get a pint of ben&jerrys (your diet can start tommorow), and cuddle up with sanity and let him lick your face until you are forced to smile
And on a serious note about the weight thing: I don't know how much you weigh but from you pictures I highly doubt you need to loose 50lbs. That being said, some (real) diet advice: my sister is overweight and has tried a ton of diets. The only one that worked for her was weight watchers. She hated going to the meetings, so she just got a book and did the point system on her own (extra bonus: no fees once you have the book, and I bet you could even buy it on ebay).
