Irish Wolfhounds in Need
« on: April 16, 2006, 01:47:49 am »
I have a connection at the SPCA in McKinney/Frisco Texas (at the Perry Campus) and last nite a gentleman relinquished his two Irish Wolfhounds. There is a male that is 3 and a female that is 2. I dont have all of the details yet and I am considering going up to meet the female today. So if anyone is out there looking for an Irish Wolfhound, these babies are going to need good homes from someone who understands the needs of a big dog. I would love to take both, but my male great dane doesnt like other males. I have acreage for them to run and play on and would love to save them all.

Oh my!  DH and I were just talking about IWs and how we think we'd like one for our next dog! We sort of have a 4 dog limit though unless we get a kennel license (PITA) and we're adding two dogs already this week.  We'll have to wait for a single dog after Jesse passes.  Hope someone jumps on these guys!  IWs are AWESOME!
