We're going walkies and won't be coming back straight away.

This weekend might well come as a shock for Bell and Hovis, I'm introducing them to the delights of fell walking.

If the weather is fine, I'm hitching Bell up to her cart, putting saddlebags on Hovis and we're going camping! For this first expedition, we're heading off into the dales on a 10 mile walk with overnight camp, following the Settle Loop of the Pennine Bridleway.

I can't help wondering what will be going through Bell & Hovis's minds when they finally realise that they're not returning home that day and are expected to sleep out under the stars.

Bell and Hovis would like to say that that shiny van in the driveway is there for a reason.  They would like to file their newfy union greivances they say that long walks and outdoor camping are not in their contracts.

My suggestion take supplies for three days in case they go on strike.

Yes this is definitly in violation of Newfoundland Union's Bylaws. Andy there will certainly be an investigation and you must make preperations for Bell and Hovis's immenent strike ;D.

You better watch it, if I remember correctly, they have taken the van by themselves before!  You might be the only one walking!

the kids are probably thinking... lets strap this cart and saddlebag to DAD and see how HE likes it!  ;D

Hi Andy,

Well all the best with Bell and Hovis. There better be a lake or stream in their way or you will definately have to suffer their rath on the return home!!

Can't wait for your pictures they are always a highlight in my day.
