Allie's such a good kids dog !

Thought I would share some pics of Allie and Moose from this past weekend . My parents visited from Minnesota to build an awesome jungle gym for my kids for their birthdays ( yes ... all three are in May ! LOL ) and the dogs just loved having this great weather and all the family outside with them ! (Note all the sand the kids were dumping onto Allie and she just layed there until they were finished  :) )

Oops , I should have titled this thread " Allie AND Moose are great kids' dogs " oops ,sorry Moosers ! ;D

And just a few more . LOL Last one is the new jungle gym . Moose can climb up the rock climbing wall and join the boys up there ! Allie isn't agile enough thank goodness . LOL

I love Newfs and lil kiddies! haha, okay well all dogs and kiddies, but i think im partial to newfs ;) And i love the way they take all the torture that kids will give them. My mom said that when my twin sister and i were 3 or 4 we used to dress our golden up in my dads suits and ties, or dresses and bonnets (mind you he was He) and my mom said he used to just walk out to my parents and look at them with those eyes, as to say look at what I have to put up with for love!! hahahah

Oh Yes ! This is how she gets cleaned up ....* Slowly gets up from laying in the sand box .... stretches .... walks to her bucket and gets a drink ..... heads up the stairs into the house , goes to the middle of the kitchen .... and SHAKESSSSSSSSS ... sand flies everywhere .... now she's clean !* LMAO

Those pictures are like a scene from a Norman Rockwell painting. It is so refreshing to see kids playing outside in a good old fashioned sandbox as well as the two beautiful dogs by their side - that what having dogs and kids is all about!

Yes ! I completely agree ! We are all about family and spending time together , not much TV or video games around here but we sure have lots of fun memories together already ! I'll always let my kids have lots of animals around as long as they want . My parents did that for me and I truley believe I'm a better person for it as well as a better mom . Baby crying all night ? No different than a puppy only it lasts longer  ;D
