Hi, Newbie from Alaska
« on: May 18, 2006, 01:02:35 am »
Hi everyone!
I'm Tammy and just found this site.  I'm from Alaska (for now, lol).  I'm an army wife so we'll live here until we are told to move on.  My husband and I have to girls and our dog Bear who is a Newfoundland we rescued from the pound.  We've had Bear for 2 years now and can't imagine our life without his big slobbery face!  I look forward to getting to know you all!
Tammy ;D

I miss AK so much ! I used to love going to Hatchers Pass to hike or ski .... But I couldn't have my horses up there so I don't mind being back in the "lesser 48" again  ;)

Hi there! Whereabouts in Alaska are you? I am moving to Fairbanks this Summer, and would appreciate a vet recommendation, if you don't mind.

I am SO jealous that you have a newf! I want a giant drooly hugmonster! As it is, I am waiting to move before I can start scouting through the shelters and humane societies for my furry beastie. I can't wait!

Welcome Tammy and Mr. Bear --

I'm Sarah, and my sweet boy is Einstein, a South Russian Sheepdog (pound puppy).  We're in Houston, Texas and when I saw you're in Alaska, I thought maybe we should come visit!  Just kidding, of course.
