Cape Disappointment Trip
« on: May 18, 2006, 09:46:39 pm »
Well, we took all the kids (skin and fur) to Cape Disappointment for a long Mother's Day weekend. This is a lovely State Park on the southern tip of Washington State, nestled between the two oldest working lighthouses on the West Coast.

The boys spent four days exhausting themselves playing in the surf, when we weren't hiking or fishing. Here are just a few pics of the gang. We took along my girlfriend and her blue heeler mix. He and Onyx are the best of friends and the rest of the crew just love playing with him. It was a first time Ocean adventure for them all.

The last two were a fluke. While we were walking the jetty, we came across about thrity of these little critters playing in the water. This one was a bold one, and came right up to the rock I was *hanging* off of. (Literally hanging, I musta been outta my mind!! *I can't swim*)

Enjoy...I know the boy-os certainly did!

Wonderful pictures!  It sure looks like all of you had a nice time.  I will have to e-mail my sister & her family this link for Cape Disappointment .  They live out there in Washington State too and love to camp.  This place looks like it has lots to do.

Thanks!

LOVE Cape Dissapointment!  There is a very small quiet beach there that hubby and I like to go to.  Haven't taken Dell there yet but hope to this summer.

I love your pics.  There's nothing more fun than watching dogs tear around with their tongues flailing and eyes bugged out.  You KNOW they're having a blast when they get to that point.
