My son is 9 today!

I am sitting here wondering where the time went :-\ :'(...I can't believe Russell is 9 already....It seems like just yesterday they layed that brand new boy on my chest & he looked up at me & scowled (yes scowled...lol!) like "oh great"! >:(...."So you're my mama"! :( :D :D :D I will never forget that!...Anyway, just had to share this day with you all...It is bittersweet to see them grow up...Now I'm going to wipe my silly Mom tears, go back upstairs & get ready for his party....but.. .where has the time gone? :'( :'( :'(

ehhhee the scowling made me chuckle ;D

I am glad I'm not the only mom who sheds a tear or two at birthday time. You want them to gorw up and be independant--yet you still want to hold them so close to your heart.Its soooo hard ;)

I'm also very sad that my daughter is going to be three in a month and half! I'm already crying. I can't believe it!

Don't feel bad Gyps, my baby Jon turned 9 Dec. 26....I argued with everyone for half the day that he could only be 8....I didn't care that he was doing it twice....there was NO WAY he could be 9!
