in need of lots of thoughts and prayers

My nephew Jacob (well fiance's nephew) is 9 months old and in a Chicago hospital now. He's been having seizures. They are not sure why yet. Please keep my little angel in your thoughts and prayers, he's just a baby and going through so much right now.

 So sad to hear of a sick baby  :(. Hope they find out what the problem is and get him taken care of.

I've not heard anything today on Jacob, definately waiting on an update on him. The last I heard was that it took *4* hours to get that poor little angel into a room. Thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts on my little sweetie during this time. It's scaring me to death and knowing I am 13 hours away and I can't be there to support everyone during it is killing me. Thank you again everyone.

Jacob should be coming home tonight. From what I gathered on the phone with Jason last night (my fiance) they have put Jacob on medication and they are thinking it is epilepsy. I'll ask Jason when I talk to him later if they have said anything else on him. Thank you again everyone for your thoughts and prayers during this. :)

Of all the diagnosis there could be for seizures, that might be the best!  The medications now work great and he's got a good prognosis for a great life!  Also, there's a chance he could outgrow it!  Let's hope!! Fingers and paws firmly crossed and prayers said!
