Halloween costume
« on: August 03, 2006, 06:12:04 am »
Ok, I totally realize that its August, but I like to think ahead.  Has anyone ever dressed their dog up for Halloween and where did you get the costume??  It would be for Boo so it would have to be rather large. ;D

Hmmm....now I'm getting ideas.  Although I'm not handy, I love that dragonfly costume!  I could probably find wings for Boo.  Although online the funniest costume I've found for her is a little saddle with an elf on top holding reins that go to her collar.  I mean people are ALWAYS asking if I have a saddle for "that thing".  Might as well get one  ;D

I loved my boys as sheep!...Remember they are traditionally sheep gaurdians. ;D...Also notice that Pippin has always been all boy...I always chuckle when I see this pic because his ribbon is untied & the front of his costume is hanging lopsided. :D

Nola was Seabiscuit for about 5 minutes last year.  We made the saddle and put a stuffed monkey as the jockey with reins to his collar.  We had to remove it because it freaked him out so much he was throwing himself against the fridge trying to get it off.  He could have busted all the beer in there (pre-party time) if we let him go any longer :D
