Benadryl & dogs

Kiah is licking her paw again. :-\ The vet said I could give her benadryl. Does anyone know what the dosage is for giving benadryl to dogs? Is benadryl really safe for dogs? Or is there something better for environmental allergies?

Benadryl is fine for dogs. I found the dosage for Cabeza online. I think that it was like...5cc's per 100 pounds? Just do a search for it.

Well, its all about weight. I like the liquid kind, cuz I can get it into one of those measured syringes and accurately measure.

Bella's vet prescribed her 1mg per pound (pill form).  For her, it's two 50mg pills.  Most over the counter are in 25mg pills.
