Nicki,  He is a Saint Bernard!  Eddy is a rough coat so he appears to be bigger, but at 15 months he is only 98#s.  Remember, with his hips he has to be light.  Eddy went from 110#s to 90#s after his first surgery.  His vet wants him to stay right around 110-120#s.

That sounds like fun!  Where did you have the bonfire?  I haven't been around a bonfire for at least twelve or thirteen years.  They are nice on the beach.  I miss that.

We are doing very well!  Eddy is scheduled for surgery on July 14th.  He is running around chasing rabbits and cats, and only using the three "good" legs.  He keeps the leg that has not been operated on up in the air.  We are truely amazed at his progress, and are glad we did not make the decision to put him down.  He is quite the miracle dog  .  I have two pictures.  One of him sitting on the couch with his head on our daughter's back (lazy lazy lazy) and the other one he has a stick that is bigger than he is.  He wants Heidi to take the stick from him and throw it.  He gets a little carried away sometimes!!!

My hubby made us a bonafide bonfire pit right in the middle of our back yard!...Sat. night a plastic hamper went in, an old kids Little Tykes chair, 2 pairs of shoes, a lawn chair, a Buzz Lightyear action figure that had been accidently decapitated by the lawnmower earlier that day, & possible my bra but I'm not sure..Haven't found it yet though...lol.. .A good time was had by all!
