2 Danes in San Luis Obispo Ca Animal Shelter

There are 2 Great Danes in my local animal shelter. One is a young (probably under a year, more like about 6- 8 months) deaf boy and a female fawiquin. Both were owner surrender (I hate some people). There are in poor shape, very emaciated. It broke my heart to leave them there but I am in no position to bring 2 more dogs into my home (I have 4 Danes, 1 Dalmation and some cats here)

If anyone here knows of someone looking for a rescue or could possibly pull these guys let me know please.

Oh, my heart breaks for them. I'm no longer in Ca, but I hope someone sees this (and them) before a certain "rescue" group picks them up.

So sorry, my parents would have a cow if we took in a Dane, but I'm bumping this to keep it where others will see it.

Have you or the shelter contacted Dane rescue in Southern California?  They will come and get them - just be sure it isn't that puppymill place, Gentle Giants and they do not get a hold of them.

I would love to help but I leave in two weeks and will be gone for 12 days.  Then when I get home life as I know it will be turned upside down; my 16 year old step son will be coming to live with us.
