What do ya'll think? Dane (mix?) or Pittie (mix?) ?

There is a gorgeous dog listed at the West Los Angeles Care and Control center that is listed as an 7 month old pittie.  It isn't a great picture, but to me, she looks like a Dane pup-maybe 4 or 5 months old.

I told her that I would do what I can to help out.  I have posted this onto other boards, and have been in contact with a Dane rescue who is looking for someone to visit her.
Is there anyone who is "dane savvy" and nearby.  I am not familiar with LA at all, but I can only imagine that this is probably out of the way and time consuming!!

Feel free to PM me on this matter, and I can forward the info on my rescue contact if you are able and willing.

I can get this person's contact information if anyone is interested in this pup.

Looks like a little 3 or 4 month old deaf dane puppy! Has anyone said whether that little one can hear?

What a sweetie! I hope someone can help out! I am on the east coast so I can't do anything! :'(

I'm Gulf Coast, so I'm no help either.
I agree that she looks like a Dane.  I can't tell for sure by the picture, but it doesn't look like she has any pigment in her ear, so I also agree that she's probably deaf.
I will say that she looks like a sweetheart and I hope someone can help.

I think that she is a pittie, she looks like a dane with those ears back, but look at those skinny legs, they don't look like the bulky legs of a fast growing dane pup.

edit: Maybe it's a pit bull/dane mix?

Gosh that is a hard one....the chest area makes me think pitty.  Whatever the girl is she sure is cute. Too bad we are so far away.

I think it is a pit.  The paws and ears are not big enough for a great dane.  But man that is one cute puppy!!

The head does make it look like a dane.  But the feet are waaaay too small for a dane, even a small one.  So I would have to conclude pit mix, although a pit/dane wouldn't be out of the question.

Update:

Well, a member from another board I'm on went to visit her just to see what breed she was. 

From the pictures SHE posted, it doesn't look like either.  As I suspected, though, the pup IS deaf.  I'm wondering if now, maybe she is a Catahoula mix.

The good news is, though is the poster updated today and apparently the pup has been adopted!
