I can hardly believe it, but it's been one year today that Josh and I made the drive to Redding CA to meet Lisa and pick up Onyx to come live with us.
Lisa had come to BPO looking for a home for one of her Newfie babies, and after several conversations, she agreed to let Onyx come live with my family.
BPO, I think you for being here and bringing this great joy into my life. I cannot imagine my days now without my handsome "walking carpet" meeting me at the door or cuddling with me in bed in the mornings before work. Jamie, Michael, thank you ever so much for this wonderful place. Without this community....h eck, this family, connections such as I have made with Onyx and with Lisa would not be.
Lisa, if you are online and reading this...thank you. There are no words to express the scope of my feelings. Bless you. (and some hugs and drool to Winston from Onyx and I)
