Took the boat up the Chicago River

Well, we went to visit Julie last weekend, by way of boat. It took us a long time to get the boat across Lake Michigan to Chicago as it was kind of wavy. But, cruising up the Chicago River was an incredible experience and well worth it. Here are some pics!

Coming into the harbor...This is Navy Pier



There are lots of these Pirate Ship-ish kind of boats...you can pay to take a cruise on them.

And my favorite...cru ising up the Chicago River. An experience like no other.

Well, due to the waves, it took about an hour and a half. But, on a good day, the trip can be made in like, 40 minutes or so.
