raisin toxicity

I just got this email sent to me about raisins and grapes being toxic.  Anyone ever heard of this?  I hope the link works

Yes, I think I think we've discussed the things that can be toxic to dogs...chocola te, grapes, raisins, tomatoes, macadamia nuts, etc.  I'll have to look for the link when I can get a bit more time....

Yes I heard about this before but I think the dog would have to eat a large amount of raisins for his/her size for them to be dangerous.  I know that my puppers had eaten a raisin here or there before I heard about this and they were fine.  Obviously since there can be a risk is better just to avoid them alltogether.
