Cowboy had a great time at his party....but Chester had an even better time! By the time we left, most of the toys were broken (not much can take the gnawing and tug-a-dogging of six large and giant dogs!!) and they were all exhausted.
The good time was tempered by the news that one of the Bernese has terminal cancer (he's 8 1/2) which of course made us all weepy. There's just not enough time with these guys!!!
Oh, and thanks, Krista, for the kind words. I guess it's the lesson I learned from losing two of these guys at three years old. Life is just SO unpredictable and the only thing that is constant is love!!!
