Any Big Paws in the New York City area?

Just wondering.. Persephone likes playing with dogs of all sizes, especially small ones, for some reason. But I'm always scared that she'll squash one cuz she's a puppy and still very bouncy. And now that she's bigger, dogs seem to react different to her and seem scared to play with her, or even become defensive. So... anyone up for a playgroup?
