Rosie and tennis ball videos
« on: October 24, 2006, 08:30:53 am »
We took some videos of Rosie having some tennis ball fun in our yard.

Sorry to say, the tennis ball only provided about one minute of entertainment, then she was ready for something else.

omg that was SOOOOO cutE!! she's so quick too!  you throw a ball and fumble has like a 10 second delayed reaction.. rosie should teach him a thing or too! hehe!!

oh about the ADD, stacy keeps getting mad at me when i want to buy a new toy, cause she's always like "he has a whole porch of toys, and he doesn't care about any of them, just wants our toys (books, old stuffed animals, clothing)!" lol! i think newfies were born with ADD, it's a genetic thing! lol!!  although i know kali for a fact is a soccer ball girl! maybe if you try a soccer ball!!!

Rosie didn't seem as quick when she first arrived at our home. But then we started giving her glucosamine and fish oil, and since then, she's been more playful and active [hyper] outside. Or I might just be more aware of it now, I don't know.

Wish I could look at the video, but my firewall says no.  So maybe you have one of those tennis balls on a rope.  If so, never mind.  :)

Tennis balls can be a choking hazard because of their size and because they are difficult to pull back out of the dog's mouth when covered with saliva.

There is a sad story about a Newfie named Beauty posted on a breeder's site in
California.

My Newfie prefers the Best Ball products.  They are practically indestructable and won't fit in his mouth.

I could see how the tennis ball could be a choking hazard. She was quickly disinterested and left it alone anyway.
