unfortunately diesel was an Ethiopian before we got him. his "breeders" didn't take care of him, and he came to us in VERY bad shape. i have to bring him to the vet and get him weighed. i can't remember what the vet said he weighed last time. we can still see his hip bones, and faintly see his ribs, and the last half of his backbone still pokes out some. he's always been skinny, it's just that if he doesn't eat for just one meal (he eats 2 times daily, recently cut down from 3) his condition goes down very quickly, and he looks like we haven't fed him in weeks within a few hours. he skips a lot, it's always been a task to find ways to get him interested in food.
