dane herding instincts?? *video*
« on: December 02, 2006, 10:17:55 am »
does anyone else's dogs do this?  and is it typical of danes to have a "herding" instinct?  diesel does this to all our dogs, and also herds our kids and even tries it with me and hubby.

Awwww  cute.  I thinkhe has decided to take that dog for a walk...Willow does try and herd sometimes. She will back you up into a corner or push over to one side and keep you in that spot.

What a goof.  That was super cute.  I've never seen a dane herd but Beaux (my part-time fur kid) sure does.  He's an Aussie and it drives him crazy even if we aren't all in the same room together.  When he first met Linus the cat, he would walk circles around Linus making sure he stayed in the same room with the rest of us (the herd I guess).  Diesel sure did a good job at keeping him in the room.  How funny.

Rosco, 1 yr Toy German Shettweiler (designer mutt of course)and toy cause he's not Rotti or GSD size AT ALL.  Though they said he was a mix of the two..  Tonka, 3 year Great Dane
And last and most certainly NOT least, Linus 5 year old cat.
