Kali found her Christmas tree
« on: December 10, 2006, 01:21:31 am »
We took Kali to the xmas tree farm to pick out her tree. It's one of the places that they give you a handsaw and you go out and cut down the tree you like.  She had more fun than she did last year.  She was trying to drag me all over the farm and loved every minute of our search.  We took some pics of her being festive and of her and Santa. All the staff loved her and said she was extremely well behaved and Santa loved the fact she was dressed like him.  Most of the pics are of her with my mom and dad (her very proud grandparents) but I'm in the one of her and Santa. She was such a good girl but she wore herself out.

Posing for the camera.

Those are all wonderful pics!!  I've never actually went to pick out my own tree, we've always had fake trees and one year Tony got adventurous and decided to go to WalMart to buy a real tree.  ::)  Going to a tree farm looks much more fun though! lol

Kali looks adorable.  I am sure people were glad to meet her when they were out Christmas tree shopping.  Looks like all of you had a fun time.

Awwww!  Those are great pics!  Kali is gorgeous!  I love it that her "grandparents" love her so much.  I tried to get DH to let me bring Carter to pick our tree but Carter is definitely a WILD CHILD and it would have been interesting to fit both him and the tree in the van aside from the dragging issue ;)

What great pictures!! She looked like she had a great time. My husband, who is from Vermont, always told me about those kind of Christmas tree lots. Ive always wanted to go to one of those, it seems so neat to cut down your own tree. Down here you just pick it up and take it to check out LOL

LOL!!!!!!!!  We're living reverse lives ;)  I've never known anything but "cut your own."  We did it as kids and have always done it in our own home.  Our current spot is up on top of the hill we live on.  The owners are friends so it is as much a gossip session as tree picking  :D  DH thinks it's funny that we get the job done and he's still talking  ::) ;D

Rosie peed on one of the Christmas trees at the tree store. We figured that was her way of saying "I like this one." Needless to say, we didn't go with her choice. Hehe.
