Does anyone know how to use a sheepdog whistle?

I bought a sheepdog whistle to work on long-distance recall with Floyd and I can't figure the darn thing out!!  I didn't come with instructions, either!  HELP!  =)

You'd think that someone with a Master's degree would be able to figure out a whistle!!  Good thing I don't herd sheep for a living.  I guess I'll have to practice!!
