I posted a couple days ago about a great dane/lab mix at my local shelter. well...today i took hubby and we went to take a look. he was the most beautiful boy. you can definitely see the great dane in him. hes all black and i swear this pupper is ALL legs. hes so tall already and has huge paws. he'll definitely be a big boy. we visited with him, and we also vistited with a 6 mo old mastiff/lab mix who was lovely and so nice. she was already 70 pounds at only 6 months. it was a really hard decision, i would have loved to have walked out of there with both pups. but...we decided to get the great dane/ lab. hes 10 weeks old and so playful, and shy and altogether adorable. we came home and introduced him too his brother, cooper, a golden retriever, and his sister, sophie, a collie mix. introductions went very well. everyone played. i think my 2 dogs overwhelmed him a bit but he did great. i havent thought of a name for this little guy yet, so if anyone has any suggestions, please tell me. i will try to post pics soon. my husband is still in shock over the fact that we now have 3 dogs, and 3 cats. lol
