We came back from Calgary a little disapointed. Our newfie, Joy, was dismissed from the ring on the first day there. She was limping, i didn't notice it when we were running, and I guess she wasn't until we went around the second time, then the judge came and ask me to go. Wah!!!!! But on the upside she is better now and that is all that matters. Its too bad though, it was a newfie specialty and there were 37 newfs there, a lot of competition, maybe we would of won something, because every other show that we have been at her back end wasn't level until this show. So next time for us I guess.
Joy even looked depressed that she couldn't go in the ring again.
Amy our IW, showed very well for the first time. My husband Brad showed her for the first time as well. They did great. Amy even beat a two year old. But no points for her either.
She was a natural, and so was Brad. Now the competition is on for us, who will finish there dog first.....It better be me since mine is the older of the two.
