Anna is sick... :-(

I don't know what's going on with my big girl.  She is definitely in heat - that started Thursday night.  Then last evening she started with diahhrea (sp?).  Poor girl.  She had to spend last night in the crate and when I got up this morning of course she had had an accident.  She must have spent part of the night standing up, although I think it might have happened just before I got downstairs to her.

I'm going to try to get her into the vet this morning - but they only have morning hours and are usually pretty booked.  I hope they'll take pity on me once again today!  My poor girl...it's so hard when they're not feeling well.

I'm glad I got her into the vet.  She's going to be fine - it's a virus of some sort and Dr. Awesome put her on medication plus kaopectate (vanilla flavour...she loves it...).

She took her right in even though they were booked doing a training session on ultrasounds today because they were concerned that she might have had a uterine infection.  She doesn't.  We actually think it might be related to eating more poopsicles.  She snacked while at the ball field on a walk with my husband the other night.  It's one thing to eat your own poo, or your sister's poo....but we have to start drawing the line at eating strange poo. 

I cannot even believe I just typed that.  hehehe
