***Ack my internet has been out since last night***
I so wish I had paid more attention when I initially looked at petfinder and then I would have realized that I was out of the east coast.
I have tried to convince both my husband and my mother-in-law that they could do a quick trip to Texas they think I'm nuts.
I absolutely love the picture of Darla but it is hard to determine if she is the one if I can't play with her and hold her.
I am hoping she gets adopted this weekend - she is such a doll!! If not I will have to revisit the idea again.
Thank you sooooo much to everyone for your encouragement and thoughtful offers of help. I may still take you up on it.
The best thing I can say about this is hubby who has been so insistant that I can't have a second dog has now said if I find a rescue, or mix breed, black dog (OK he doesn't like dog hair on suits for work) he would consider it.
Again, you guys are simply the best - thank you soooo much and if anyone sees any pups in need in NY, PA, CT, OH etc please let me know!!
