Oso - Shelter Dog
« on: July 09, 2005, 04:31:37 pm »
Hi!  I'm Oso, and I'm a happy friendly boy.  My owners moved to Florida, and said they couldn't take me along.  Now my time is almost up at the Shelter.  I think I'm a very handsome Rottie, but Shelter policy for my breed prevents me from being adopted by anybody with other pets or children.  Check me out at http://www.petfinder.org/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=4637146

I am so sad for this dog. They won't let anyone with pets or children adopt him, and they say his time is 'almost up' because he hasn't been adopted yet? That is so harsh  :-(

Oh man! How lame! Oso means Bear in Spanish. My friend has a Rottie named Oso, too. I wish that someone could do something for that baby. Unfortunately, I've got a kid, a dog and three kitties! :'( :'(

That is such a shame, I don't understand how someone can get a dog and then just toss him aside like that.

We have more laws to protect dumb people from dogs, and hardly any laws enforced to protect innocent dogs from lethal human negligence.
