Need help finding post
« on: July 11, 2005, 08:06:39 pm »
I was talking to a friend about wolf dogs and someone had posted a link in here earlier (Within the past week) to a wolf dog post about how in reality very few wolf dogs have uch, if any wolf in them.  Well I can not find that post for the life of me.  I found people who posted on it and I looked up their last few posts, and I can't find it.  I'm going NUTS!!!!!!!!  Can anyone help?  (Not with the going nuts part, that's beyond any help)

Did you use the search option for wolf dogs? Here is one link by Moon: http://bigpawsonly.com/index.php/topic,1523.msg15127.html#msg15127

I searched for 'wolf' and this post is the closest I could find to what you might be looking for:

I searched for "Wolf" and "Wolf dog".  I found the lady who did the post in the member's list (Found her by her avatar) but the post isn't listed.  The name I found was "Wolf_Lover"  I don't know if it was under another name or not.  She was introducing her wolf dog, and she was getting another one that had all kinds of wolf like buffalo wolf in it.  She said that the buffalo was a big fluffy type of wolf and it's almost extinct.  Then someone posted this awesome link I can't find.

There was a lady here who was going to breed her wolfdogs sometime back & someone posted a link about wolfdogs in rescue & I think she is gone...Now last week there was another wolfdog post & I can't find that either...Can't remember if there was a link with it or not though.

Yeah it was from last week.  It started before then, but someone bumped it up.

Hi Ang

It was I that wrote the post in question in the thread that seems to have vanished.

I'm glad that someone else was able to post the Wolf Park link.

If anyone has any questions about wolfdogs in general or of their care, I have access to a multitude of excellent sites and know of many knowledgeable owners of wds that have verified linneage.

I also know many wd rescues across the country that may be able to either adopt a wd to you or rescue one that's in need a new home.

Or better yet, I may be able to provide anyone with info that might help to enable them to keep their wolfie instead of placing them into rescue!!!
