don't know if any of you will be interested, but this new park is trying to start up in douglas county, and needs support at their meetings!  if it passes and gets made, this is what is expected.

Bark N Trot Parks (BNT) is a 501 (c) 3 not for profit organization.

Current Wishlist:
Dog Park:5 to 7 acres
Free Play, Agility Practice, Frisbee Practice Area, Small and Large breed sections

Horse Park: 30 to 40 Acres
Round Pens, Open Air Arena, Paddocks, Pasture

Arena Fully Enclosed – 115 x 280
Dog Shows - Herding, Agility, Frisbee, Breed
Horse Shows - Multiple Disciplines
Agriculture Shows
Animal Wellness Seminars, Sports Seminars
Festivals

Utilities and Amenities
Wash Stations, Dog and Horse Watering stations, Bathrooms, Adequate Parking

Public Input Hearings
The County has scheduled four Public Input Meetings to hear comments from citizens on projects they would like to have considered should the referendum pass. The Public is invited to attend and participate.

      * Tuesday, April 17th, 7:00 p.m., Anneewakee Trails Clubhouse

      * Thursday, April 26th, 7:00 p.m., GreyStone Power Auditorium

      * Thursday, May 3rd, 7:00 p.m., Clinton Nature Preserve

      * Thursday, May 17th, 7:00 p.m., Citizen's Hall, Douglas County Courthouse
