What a story!
« on: April 29, 2007, 07:41:24 am »
I just read about this dog named Faith.  She was born with no front legs and "walks" like a human on her hind legs.  The story was in my new Guideposts magazine.  Her website is www.faiththedo g.net  Talk about amazing!  Just had to share her heartwrenching yet heartwarming story!
Mom to 1 giant and 2 large.

She really is an awsome dog.  She had such a sad beginning but she seems really happy now.  Here is a link to when she was on the Montel Williams show.

she was on animal planet a while back.  simply amazing.  a TON like the chihuahua puppies that were born with no front legs.

no worst than for someone in strictly in a wheel chair.  i would think her back legs are just more muscular, maybe the muscles grow a little different than a dog who walks on all four.

Montel brought that up and her owner said that they have had them X-rayed and they are just fine.  I guess if she has the muscular structure to support her joints then she will be alright for now.  I think that she is gonna have a hard time though when she gets older.

the dog probably wouldn't go for it, but maybe they could make a wheelchair for her front end that would make it more natural for her joints.
