Thanks for the update on Fumble.  We have been thinking about him and hope that he gets a good report from the vet this afternoon.  We are curious if the surgeon reccommends  canine rehab following the surgery?

WEEEE'RE back from the vet and stichless! hehe!! the vet said that while the incision looks a little irritated, it doesn't look infected and there doesn't seem to be any swelling or anything inside! so taht's good!! he also said that he's walking great for 2 weeks out!  so that's good! we can begin to take short walks, but he was funny and said "use your judgement, cause you have to remember you can't carry him home if he doens't want to walk anymore"... so we'll begin taht phase!  i asked about hydrotherapy but he said with the tplo it's not a good idea beacuse when they swim dogs hyperextend their legs and that can cause infection and tendonitis in the joint, and we don't want that.  i'm going to do some research on any types of physical therapy that i can do at home... but it's good to know that hte big guy is AOK for the day! :)

It's good to hear that Fumble is recovering so well.  I hope everyone else is recovering as quickly from it too.
