It's Kelly - Baby Campbell Arrival!!!

Hi all 

We just got home from the hospital this evening with our handsome new son, Blake Alexander Campbell 

I was induced Saturday morning and after 16 hours of labor, the vaccuum, forcepts and an episiotomy - our lovely 8lb 12oz, 20.5 inch bundle of joy arrived at 9:56pm on Canada Day (July 1st)!!! Eric was an AWESOME coach, I couldn't have done it without him, gosh I just love him so much 

The day after he was born Blake tested positive for jaundice, due to the slight bruising from his somewhat rough delivery. Thus the reason for our long hospital stay. He had to sleep in the tanning bed (lol) for a couple days to get rid of it He is now happy and healthy and ready to take on the world!

Thanks again for all of your wishes and support. We are so happy that our baby boy is healthy and happy!  I will be online again once we get settled in!!!

Hi Kelly, I haven't been on BPO much lately but I've been watching to see if you posted.  I'm so happy for you, Eric and Kate, baby Blake is precious.  I love his pics and the one of his tiny foot is just adorable.  Our oldest 2 sons had jaundice also, but it quickly resolved.  I was told to nurse them frequently and that would also help the jaundice resolve.  I know that you are very busy and probably quite tired, so thanks so much for the beautiful photos.  Congratulation s again on your beautiful new baby boy!

Whooo Hoooo Baby Blake has made it to BPO. What a cutie. He is just precious. Welcome little Blake, your arrival was much anticipated. Kelly, here's wishing you a speedy recovery and congrats to you and Eric. Kate is going to LOVE her new baby.

ahhhhh - the post I've been waiting for! Congratulation s to you, Eric and Kate! Your boy is absolutley gorgeous! So glad he is home and you both are healthy! Cant wait for more pics and to hear how Kate is doing with her little brother!

Congratulation s Kelly and family!!! Blake is so cute and such a chunker!! Awww..he's gonna be a handful I can tell lol. I'm amazed at how well he fills out the newborn diapers, then you know he's big lol. I agree, his head doesn't look huge but you had a rough time! You poor thing! I'm famous for long labors too, so I feel your pain. I love all the pics! The bili light ones are great, I love the foot one, and the one his belly - froggy pic hehehe. Enjoy him and get some rest. Good job Mama!!

YYYYYYYYAAAAAA AAAAYYYYYYYYYY !!!!  So happy for you and Eric!  What great pics too!  And he didn't look too yellow so that's good.  Both my neices were jaundice and had to stay in the bili light for quite sometime, but they're great now!!  He's beautiful, congrats, get as much sleep as he'll let you!
