Hunting Fishies
« on: July 08, 2007, 08:59:42 am »
Poor Woody spent about 4 hours hunting fishies in our pool today.  We bought some new "Little Squiggles" pool toys that "swim" around, and Woody saw them.  Maple had to join in, though she couldn't figure out what was keeping his attention LOL

Well, they're supposed to be skin kid toys, but, apparently, they make great Dog Sitters LOL

Don't know why his nails haven't popped the pool yet, but we're going to keep our fingers crossed.  Maybe it's cause I bought a cheap pool from Target?

Poor Woody just went outside and stood staring into the pool until I went out and told him, "No more fishies".

Well, today, he did get his front half in LOL (Oh, and with this type of pool, that means the water starts coming out)  Then, I lifted him in, but, once in the pool, he doesn't hunt, he just looks for a way out.  Maybe we need a shallower pool?  He's never been much of a swimmer.  Not scared, but, just not his thing.

Yes, he gets very intense when he hunts.  he concentrates so hard that he starts shaking and making a chirpy whining sound.
