Just wanted to let you guys know that I was offered a Tech position with another school district making almost double my present salary!!  I truly love my job now but with one in college and one going in a year I was like OMG YES!!!  Seriously good job...Wish me luck!!  Couldnt have come at a better time

Best of luck in your new job!!  That is exactly what I am hoping I am a tech assistant in my school district now but make very little money and my son will be going to college in 3 years I am hoping to move up but noone seems to want to retire!!  So you are giving me hope - Enjoy your new job!!

Ya dont give up hope...I have been a CTS(Campus Tech Specialist) for 8 years at this district. With this new district I am a District Tech which boosted my pay to almost 40m a year which totally blew me away...So hang in there!!
