My favorīte breeds... hard to say as I just owned some and do not know much about others. I really tried to put Top10 together, but failed...Sorry  ::) So

Saint Bernard
German Shepherd
Landseer
Had them, have them and love them to pieces.

Then maybe
Leonberger
Bernese Mt. Dog
Irish Wolfhound,
but about these I’m not sure, I would like to try maybe one of these someday if... or something like that. But no... Honestly only Saints and GSD

There are many more but just cant think...I do know that my next big paw will be a Newf but waiting until we have a pool because of this wonderful tx heat and humidity!!

Just 10!  How am I going to be able to narrow the field down to just 10!  I want one of everything.  Okay, here goes.

That list is in no particular order and I ran out of numbers for all hounds and mastiffs and well you get the picture.

Top 10, huh? Well, that's easy but hard. I am a fan of mixes rather than purebreds. So, my favorite mixes have:

aussie
boxer
dane
lab
mastiff

These guys mixed with anything medium or large would be awesome dogs, I think!

Much to my mother's disappointment, Siberian's are not #1 on my list...

2. Siberian Husky
3. Great Pyrnees
4. Kuvasz
5. Borzoi
6. Samoyed

9. Bernese Mountain Dog
10. Papillion (the only ankle biter I would consider owning)


As you can see I like the big furry dogs...I must secretly love being covered in dog hair...   ;D

My favorite breed of all time is the border collie.  The rest of the list is in no particular order because I love them all for different reasons.  I love the smart soulful eyes of the wolfhound, and the soft velvety ears and carefree attitude of the bassett.  I like the way a borzoi moves and the way a golden just wants to please you.  Honestly, I could probably go on forever, so I'll just get on with the list...
