Okay I knew that Micheal Vick had a pretty big part in a dog fighting ring.  And that for one makes me MAD, but I JUST saw a picture of one of the poor babies that had the misfortune of having been a part of this sick and twisted and EVIL mans game of "sport".  I seriously want to vomit.  How any person, I don't care who you are or how much money you have can think that this is fun is beyond me.  I'm not one to harbour bad feelings toward anyone.  But Micheal Vick May you be forced to endure all of the things that you forced these poor innocent animals to endure.  May you feel as much pain and may you suffer just as much as these dogs did.  You deserve so much worse.

I'm sorry guys.  I'm not usually such an angry person.  I jsut needed to get that out, and I'm at work so I can't really have a loud outburst, so a typed one will have to do.  But I'm gonna go cry now, so talk to ya later.

I have a lot of pics that have been sent to me, they were just too sad and something that I could never share with anyone other than Eukanuba. And I suppose that the picture really didnt upset any one at Eukanuba because I didnt get that much of a response from them. Michael Vick is just one of many who are involved in this sick sport. Maybe this will make the public more aware and maybe if more people see the pics of the dogs after a fight, it will keep the public fired up and mad to the point of not putting up with it anymore. The problem with dog fighting is that it is so shrouded in secret, you have to be involved in it to know about it and unless someone gets mad and wants to turn the others in, they are protective by thier own. Lets hope that this is a turn in the right direction going forward. I am also a firm beleiver in Karma, and I wouldnt want to be in the receiving line with Vick.

I haven't seen the pictures and frankly, I don't want to.  It makes me sick to my stomach just knowing what those poor dogs wentthrough and what is ahead for them - most likely euthenasia (sp?).  Seeing those pictures will just make it harder for me to deal with something I can't change.

I also am a firm believer in karma and this belief is the only thing keeping me from being physically ill.

What comes around, goes around, Vic.  I pity you when it does.

I was at work today and on the news it said that he may only face 12-18months of prison time.  Now granted I was reading that and I didn't hear the whole story so I sincerely hope that that was a typo!!  Then I hear that PETA wants to ban pit bulls??  This from the people who protest fishing!!!???!!!???!!!

PETA is only "good" about 10% of the time, the rest of the time they do more harm than good. I think that there are extremes in every situation and PETA has cornered the market on extreme. I think that Breed Specific Legislation is sickening. We need to have more responsibility placed on owners and people who indiscriminate ly breed. There was a man in the wireless store with me recently and he was bragging about his "business" phone, when asked what his business was, he said that he breeds Pit Bulls. I had thoughts of doing physical harm but didnt carry through with the thought, he was also the type that you would not be able to talk to and reason with about why his business was not such a good idea. So I said nothing. How sad for the dogs.

I recently had a person inquiring to buy one of my puppies (gr pyrenees) to guard his 'chickens'  Turns out he breeds fighting birds and ships them all over the country- big operation - over 200 birds and he was quite proud of them.  Apparently it is illegal to fight them but not illegal to breed them

All people like this truly suck as human beings and should have their passes revoked.  Back to the Primordial ooz (sp?) with them, they need a few more millenia in evolution so as to catch up with the rest of us.

I'm glad someone else said exactly how I feel about this whole thing!  I can't even talk about it because I get so worked up and upset I can only fume.  I certainly hope he's getting a lot more time than 12-18 mths, that would be a slap in the face to all those poor dogs, their rescuers and everyone else who cares.  It never fails to amaze me how many monsters there are that think there's nothing wrong with breeding and fighting animals.  It makes me so angry I could just scream!   As far as PETA goes, most of them are no better than these monsters.  There's no logic or reason behind what they do and most, if not all, of thier goals are just as cruel!!!
