Well since Fumbs got the okay from the vet for play we brought Kali out to the Cape to see him. Zeus and his dad ended up meeting us there too. We had a great time. It was a bit cramped sitting in the back of the Jetta with Kali since she insisted on sitting on me pretty much the whole ride.
We met at Eiren and Stacy's house then went to the ocean beach. Kali and Fumble were chickens and mainly waded though Kali eventually went in further than normal. Zeus was in working mode he was obsessed with retrieving seaweed and shells until Stacy brought the bumper out for him. He is such a good swimmer and was trying to teach the chickens how it's done which was pretty funny.
After they got worn out we loaded everyone back into the cars and headed back to Fumb's house. Then the newfs were rinsed off in the outdoor shower (their idea of torture
). They were spoiled with watermelon, pizza crusts, ice cubes and ice cream...all of the favorites which made up for the fact they had been rinsed towelled and brushed. Also we finally gave Fumbs his Birthday present which was the raised feeder in the pic with Kali.
Overall we had a great time so a big thanks to Eiren, Stacy and Fumbs for being great hosts. We'll have to get together agian before it gets too cold.
