Newf Ectropian - Eye Problems??

Bear woke up with on eof her lower eyelids very swollen and turned out...I was reading about ectropian eyelids...anyo ne had experience with this? Are they puffy? I am hoping to get her into the vet today....it just looks painful :(

My coworker's beagle had this problem last weekend. They were given some ointment to rub on his lower eyelids to get the swelling down. The vet couldn't ascertain the cause, maybe a bad reaction to a bug bite or something he ate.

Looks like Bear's eye is a bite/allergic reaction too. The vet gave me cream.....Bear is not very cooperative though and I am not sure I actually got it in her eye  :-[. Next time i'll try when she's sleeping!

Glad to hear its only a reaction not more serious. Poor Bear though that must be sore.
I had a rotti that endotropin-rolls inward. Her eyes were all puffy and gooey. She ended up having surgery. The surgery was just like a human would het for an eye lift..lol. Poor Sam had cone  head for a long time.

Yes...try applying cream when sleeping. I had to do that to for  awhile.
