Totally NDR - Recycle Question

I am doing some fall cleaning and decided to clean out my closet.  I have about 54897214079812 34 hangers not in use.  So, my question is... can you recycle hangers??

I'm gonna keep some of them, but I don't need the 54897214079812 34 that are left over.

Well, you officially can't do the curbside recycle with them.  I've got to take some stuff to Goodwill, so I'm gonna try to pimp out some of my hangers to them.
