Which one is the bear?
« on: November 23, 2007, 05:51:06 am »
LOL!!!  My mom sent me the Travelers insurnace magazine ad with the bear in the sink.  she thought that it reminded her of the time she saw fumble jump in one time. well on thanksgiving morning, we were trying to take his picture and we attempted peanut butter to entice him.  but stacy must have left the spoon in the sink.  fumble jumped right in and just kept licking the spoon while it was still in the sink.  i grabbed the camera, because it looked awfully familiar to a picture of a magazine ad!   ;) :D

Oh I absolutely love it!  It is wonderful to see Fumble up to his old self again!  Must be all the extra Gluc./Chond. you have been giving him.  The picture is hysterical!  I think it is very funny how we all manage to get lots of pictures of our Big Paws up to all kinds of things that make us laugh out loud.  Keep on posting!  Glad the big fella is feeling better.

The picture on the right looks just like Bodhi, since he is brown!

I think I already told you all this...but the DNR trapped a bear at our friend Patty's house several months ago and it was smaller than Bodhi!  It was obviously just a young bear.....but she got a kick out of it and called me and said, "Your darn dog is bigger than the bear in my yard!". LOL!

Bodhi takes naps in the bathtub...he barely fits, but seems to enjoy it.  I'll have to get a picture and post it!

What a troublemaker! It's so hard not to laugh when they do 'bad' things, because it always ends up being so cute at the same time. Fumble looks more like a real bear than the bear itself!

Thank you!
Thats so funny! thats a question we get all the time. We give him a bath every few weeks in the spring/summer/and beginning of fall with out outdoor shower. The winter, well hes lucky if he gets on bath because hes almost too big for the tub! He does need one badly right now but were waiting until he's all healed up from his surgery. We use whatever is at the local dog stores that are usually a boutique brand thats good for dry skin, Fumble has a beautiful coat but really lousy skin, either with staph or dry spots. But we only brush him once in awhile. He hates to be brushed. Stacy bribes him with marshmallows and leave it to get a good brushing in but thats only once in awhile. He does have curly hair too. Its funny it looks like he has a perm!

I wanted to bring Timber to the groomers, because I don't have an indoor set up for bathing him, he just doesn't fit in my tub anymore :-\ It only costs 80 bucks to bring him, so I think i'm going to do that before christmas.. It'll be his xmas gift from me  :D lol!!  This way he'll be all nice and fluffy for the winter ;) He doesn't mind me brushing him at all, but when I cut his nails, I have to sit on his belly LOL!!  He's not too crazy about that part!

Oh my!  Fumbs is a big, tall boy!  What they won't do for peanut butter.  ::) My Bear once got his head stuck under the chair trying to reach the peanut butter jar lid that slid under there after Nakita raided the recycling bin. ;)
