That is gorgeous !  A thought, why don't you look into Ashville NC if you're thinking to relocate, it's the most wonderful arts and crafts community with wonderfully eccentric young people and with a talent like you have it might be a good place to look into.

Gatlinburg, TN is another artsy and crafty area. Oh and you'll be in the middle of everyone on the east side so party at Lins!!

Either way, VERY beautiful quilt! I wish I had that kind of talent.

WOW! Great job! Are you really into it? I am complete beginner, have done only two quilts, and simple ones. Here it is not a popular thing so I'm learning all it by myself. One quilt takes me about a month to do (I mean, for the king size bed) mostly on Saturdays and Sundays.

for a king sized bed that's quick.  i made one for my twin bed in a queen plus size and it took a while.  the hard part is the size of it all and all the manuevering of it you have to do under the little machine.  but it can be done.  so don't knock yourself for it taking a month to do.  and if you need any help let me know.  you can IM me on yahoo or call me or nextel me...whatever you need.  this one took 4 days minus cutting hundreds of pieces of fabric.  that's the part i hate the most.  but the rest flew by.  i do mostly scrap quilts since you will always have an abundance of left over fabric from something.
again...keep up the hard work and it will start feeling easier and less combursome.  and get ahold of me if you want help.  :)

I do scrap too... I'm collecting different leftovers and when I have matching set of colors, then I search for a pattern.
This is my first one, i made it last year on Easter hols.

Wow, that is awesome!
I've always wanted to do quilts or knitting or crocheting or something creative like that but I simply don't have the patience for it........plus the fact that I don't know how to do any of it........lol.
But I certainly like the finished product.

knitting and crocheting i think is harder than quilting.  sure there are icky things like mitored corners that take practice.  but try it.  i dare ya!

Just a thought...you could do dog quilt/wallhangings. I had a friend that did some parrot quilt hangings and she was selling them like hotcakes! They looked almost like stained glass but in fabric. I would deffinatly buy one with a square of each of my pups. :)
