Merlin,

we are so glad you are home and resting comfortable; you certainly look better after your surgery than I did after mine!!

Your must have had a very long tail because I was expecting you to look like a springer spaniel tail and it is still long and awesome!!

Take care - heal quickly

I am so glad he is home safely.  He will not even notice it was done and neither will anyone else, except you of course.  Congratulation s and heres hoping for a super speedy recovery.  No you are not sick or twisted.  He is your baby and you want to see what they did.  I don't blame you. I would too.  Oh wait, maybe we are both sick.  Nah, we're just really, really, loving mothers.

Glad to hear Merlin is doing well.
I also cannot believe that 6 inches were taken off!  wow, that must have been some tail!  My friend's dane only has about a 10 inch tail after his amputation so glad to hear Merlin got to keep most of his.

Holy Cow!!!  You've gone through a lot!!!  I'm glad that Merlin got through the surgery, and that is still one long tail!!   Hopefully now that he's feeling better he'll put back on some of his weight too.  Here's to a speedy recovery, and it sounds like he's well on his way!!
