Our first meal and uh oh- Mom put us in a play pen

The play pen was a necessity- They are not at all happy with my decision to contain them in one area, however one of them got out of the bathroom and got under Jakes feet. I am thankful to Jake that he didnt bite the baby, but he did growl, which is what alerted me to the fact that there was a problem. You would be surprised at how quick these guys are when they first start walking. Then they got introduced to real food. What a mess. Food was every where, but they have pretty much all decided that it was some pretty good stuff.

They are just too cute! I can't believe how big they are all getting--they seem to be thriving under your care. You definitely deserve some angel wings!  ;D

What a bunch of cuties!!!
When Tisha had 2 pups years ago, she HATED them, I had to force her to lay still top feed them. I broke out the playpen and it was WONDERFUL!. I placed blankets in one end and a thick layer of newspaper in the other. They papertrained themselves. they would wake up and go to the paper. then when they were a bit bigger they started following the big dogs outside. Both new parents called me withing the first day in SHOCK that these 6 week old pups were already housetrained. :)

I so want one!  :-[  ;)

With all the babies and puppies I'm catching the fever over here. Since I can afford a puppy a little more right now I'm leaning more towards another pup.

They are adorable though!
