Grace is limping
« on: December 24, 2007, 09:11:47 pm »
as much as i try to see it getting better, i think she's limping badly enough to know she's going to need ACL replacement.  she's not putting wieght on it today.  i'll give it a few more days till i take her to the vet...but i kinda see it coming.

i hope it's nothing too.  but i was right with Lady twice.  she plays on it and walks outside on it.  but is really playing it up just between rooms.  I worry.

Oh, I sure hope not, too!  Though if Grace does need surgery, she is one lucky pup to have a devoted mom with so much experience with that type of recovery.  I'll be hoping for the best, please keep us posted.   :-*

she's putting a little weight on the leg...more so outside than in.  but throw her toy and she's got nothing wrong with her.  she still jumps into bed too so it must not hurt that bad.  i'll know next week if i'm taking her in.

She's still limping so i left a message to have the surgical center call me monday and get her in to look at her leg.  I still want to believe it's something else since she still jumps up on the bed and gets on the counch and walks normally 80% of the time.   isn't that logical?

i can't get Pupper in till Friday to have her leg looked at.  she seems so ok one day and not the next.  maybe it is nothing to worry about.   but with the way my luck is running...i doubt it.  she's in good spirits though.  we played all day yesterday and she bounced in the snow.
we'll be ok.  the ortho doctor is booked too so it could be about a week from now that i can ever get her in to have the surgory.
