Pannus is very treatable, but not curable.  Most greyhounds respond with daily eyedrops.  You just need to be consistent and vigilant.

Hi!

I had a dog with pannus. He did just fine, but HAD to have his medication DAILY. Two meds. It did a great job of keeping his eyes well. Also, the vet suggested doggles, because the eyes become very sensitive. From what I understand, it is degenerative, but with meds can be kept totally under control.

Good luck, there is lots of information out there. I guess the best info I can offer is just that my dog was fine, but the meds are kinda expensive and absolutely mandatory.
