We have another female Great Pyrenees that need a home.  She and her brother were put in the night box of a shelter in Summersdale, Alabama.  I plan to go see her in the next few days and take some more photos.  The shelter promised me that they would call me if she is any danger of being put down. They do not have a set time for them to stay. It is done on a day by day basic.  I was told that she 2-3 years old, may have been spayed and a very sweet girl.  I will post more as soon as I take a look at her. Please cross-post of you know of good sites.

info on journey:
about 2 years old, very good natured, walks well on a leash, possibly spayed, double dewclaws on back feet

I plan to make up a flyer. This weekend I willl  post it in as many places and will let me.  When I take Dixie & Sugar Bear to class I am going to take the information on Journey.  If we can find a new home then we can start working on a way to get her there.  I will post as soon as I have made a vist to see her.

Please cross post this to any board you may be on.

I really wish I could take in dogs like that.  I can only have 2 dogs.  I'd save them all if I could.  I'd have a ranch full of dogs.

I hope that they can, here is the email that I sent to them.

Hello

I am emailing this because it has come to my attention that there is a Female Pyrenees in danger of being put to sleep if she is not adopted soon. (She is at risk if being put down any day now.) The shelter that she is located in is, Summersdale, Alabama. This was posted on a site that I belong to called Big Paws Only I have sent emails to a pyr list that I belong to, to see if anyone can take her in or get her to a no kill shelter, I would take gladly them in but I live in Canada. She is a young beautiful girl that deserves a good home, and a chance to have that good home, Journey deserves a chance at a good life.  I plea with you and ask if you can take her in or know of any other no kill shelter that can take her in? Shelter number 251-972-6834.

Thank you

Is there anyone who can foster her so it buys us time?  I'd foster her but I live in Canada in BC
