That's a common thing here, too.
When Cassie joined our family a year ago, she showed everyone that the sofa is the place for pups to be, and we like to snuggle with them so it works fine for us. Sam doesn't get up there, b/c of his joint problems, but Cass & Daisy spend more time on our sofas than we humans do. We tried blankets & towels to protect the sofas, but we've had the best luck with the 2 piece slipcovers. They look nice, don't slip all over & they run through the washer & dryer easily. Just in case you find that you need them, too.
Give that handsome guy a snuggle for us, too.
