Hi everyone !!! I just called up there and they said he is still there!! They say his paperwork says he is a pittbull mix. I know they are located 2 hours from san fran....Its a 100.00 adoption fee...adn they are open untill 4:30 pm... he is sooo cute I cant help ...I have 3 children and my Zima is not good with other dogs!!! I wish I could it is sooo sad!

this place rescues animals from death row!!! can anyone call them to see if the can rescue him!!!!!!

I just emailed Pet Pro to see if they can save him, I would call them but I am at work right now.

I would love to help by calling them, but the long distance we had, well it was real good especially since I call sweden at least a couple of times a week, they are apperantly having problems, for about a week now I have gotten the "your number can not be connected, please check the number and try again" Bad thing is that we have all the long distance with them, I have left messages on their machine and they called back, but we have yet to see some improvement. I would hate to change though, they have the best fees overseas.

AND Chris left for the beach with MY cell phone (it wasnt enough with his own  )

So anyway, all I can call is local, great help, since I hardly ever call local

I will write an email too though, maybe it helps if they recieve more letters.

Tell them, you belong to a group and a lot of people are working on trying to get him into a rescue or foster home. Could they please give him some extra time, so we can at least get answers from the rescues that have been contacted and also see if we have any way of finding a foster home thru the group.

That should be all you have to say, and also ask lots and lots of questions about disposition, previous situation, have they seen any difficulties at all with him, how is he with dogs, cats, kids, well just everything you can think of that will make it easier for people to know if they can foster this dog or not.

Okay geeeeeeeze.... . I think I totally made a booboo here. You are not calling the shelter are you? If you call the shelter, you can use something like what I poste, if you are calling the rescue group well lol...... please dont use that.

If you call the rescue group, say something like BPO has a lot of concerned people, we have and still are trying to find home/foster home for this boy, but also found them on a search on internet, do they have any way of helping this guy out, he is really really going on borrowed time. Could they please call the shelter and maybe arrange something, if they do need any help, maybe we here could help with something even if we cant find a home at least not right now.

I am sorry if I totally messed you up by thinking you were calling the shelter.

OK I just got off the phone with Kristen the kennel manager at the shelter and she said that someone is coming to look at him tomorrow so he is safe until then, she said that she will call me if this person does not show up, and it sound like they won't put him to sleep, if they know we can get him to another place. I also left a message with Pro life so I am just waiting to hear back from them.
Any other help would be great, idea's ect???

You guys are so awesome! I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that you were able to get the dog off of death row. BPO rocks! You girls are the best! No one would ever beleive how wonderful you are and how much you truly care about the health and welfare of animals. You all need some sort of medal!
